Clone, express and produce proteins and antibodies to support company’s R&D initiatives and programs. Support protein science group to identify and establish emerging technologies and instrumentation for protein and antibody purification and characterization. Knowledge and experience with different purification strategies for protein and antibody production. Some practical experience with mammalian cell transfection, protein expression and purification preferred. Communicate effectively and use to working in a cross-function groups. Help to develop SOP and execute it reliably. Help to develop and execute project plans in a timely manner. Being responsible for running in vitro assays to support lead selection.

• BS/MS in biochemistry, biology, bio/chemical engineering or related majors with equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Hands on experience in sterile techniques with cell culture and knowledge/experience in recombinant protein purification and characterization.

• Hands on experience with some of following techniques and skills: AKTA, HPLC/UPLC instruments, SDS-PAGE gels, Western Blot, and ELISA; and with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, DNA extraction, transformation and transfection.

• Good problem-solving skills for developing creative solutions and for maintaining timelines.

• Ability to work as part of a team to execute experimental plans and deliver results.

• Good organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills.
